INJURY
Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis): It is a condition in which the outer part of the elbow becomes sore and tender. It is commonly an overuse injury my continuous forearm flexion and extension movements.
SIGN & SYMPTOMS
Individuals have experienced an aching pain during and/or after activity and the pain travels down the arm. Pain gradually worsens which will create weakness in the hand and wrist. Athlete’s with Tennis Elbow will have pain along the outer side during forceful wrist extension, as in the backhand motion in tennis. Golfer’s Elbow will have pain around the inner side during forced wrist bending, as in a pitcher throwing a ball.
